Remember Love

Sorry for the long hiatus, I was visiting Pakistan to get things in order for my sister, Nadia’s, wedding in January. It was hot….and fun. And crazy, but always great with family.
I was at the Franz Ferdinand show a few weeks ago with some friends. It was a great show. In my opinion they are the best band to see live, next to Daft Punk. Before Franz came on there was music playing at the venue, as there always is, and a song came on I liked so I took out my iphone to use my Shazam (I love that app) to see what song it was. I was surprised it worked with all the surrounding noise, but it popped up as ‘Love Affair’ by Noze, off of the Hot Chip DJ Kicks album. When I got home I downloaded the track and it actually kind of sucked. How disappointing. I left it on my itunes with the thought that maybe I’ll grow to like it, but every time it came on I would get irritated. But, not all was a waste because I found another track by Noze that I actually like a lot, ‘Remember Love’.
I don’t have too much information on Noze, except that they are an electronic/club duo from Paris. This song has a really great fast piano riff that’s jazzy in style, mixed with sub-bass beats and deep vocals. It’s a pretty upbeat, fun song for summer.
