Where Did All The Love Go?
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from the boys in Kasabian. You might remember them from their popular 2004 single, ‘Club Foot’, but not much has been noted since then, despite releasing another album after their debut. They’re out this year with their third effort, entitled ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’, which was up for the Mercury Prize. The third single off of the album was ‘Where Did All The Love Go?’, which is a great track, their best in my opinion. The song, as much of the bands ouevre, is hard hitting indie rock with bucket fulls of attitude, lead singer Tom Meighan singing with a slight disdain and spit in his mouth. This is a nice little contrast to the chorus, sung by guitarist Sergio Pizzorno in a Beatle-esque fashion.
