Yeasayer

I should’ve posted about Yeasayer a long time ago, but alas, I think I only end up posting less than 15% of what I listen to. But tonight my sister, Natasha, was listening to Yeasayer so it reminded me to put them up. Yeasayer is a band from Brooklyn that released their debut album, ‘All Hour Cymbals’, in 2007 but gained rapid attention last year. They fall into the same sound as MGMT, but less electronic and more folk. In fact they describe their music as ‘Middle Eastern-psych-snap-gospel’. My three favorite songs of theirs are below. ‘Tightrope’ being the best in my opinion, probably because it has that nostalgic, introspective feeling.
