I Remember Being Young

I really love this song right now. ‘I Remember Being Young’ by Bikini. It’s another one of those few surprises on my playlist. I had a track of Bikini’s, a cover of Feist’s ‘1234′, and then I saw that I had this and hadn’t heard it before. And it’s a great one. I don’t know too much about the band, save for their myspace page, which I love. And I never love myspace pages, but this is a messy collage of magazine photo cut outs and I love print advertisements. ‘Tonight’ is a pretty stellar tune as well. It’s like a soft sex, sultrified love song.
From what I can glean, it seems as if their ‘1234′ cover is what kick started their career and they released their first EP, ‘Concerning The No 7 And Your Love’, last year, with an excellent photo as the cover. The band consists of Johnny pen and Aaron Aujila from Canadia. Their sound is a little electronic mash, innocent and nostalgic with fun smeared all over it.
