San Diego’s ‘The Muslims’ now go by ‘Soft Pack’. Haven’t really given these guys a serious listen, but definitely like some of their stuff, particularly their track ‘Nightlife’. They interestingly sound just like ‘The Only Ones’, but obviously not as good. It has that style of raw, stripped down fun and light post punk rock. There’s some old time rock n’ roll dance to this track. Kind of reminds me of high school, dancing at a party in the basement of someone’s parent’s house. It’s some of the best lo-fi I’ve heard in a while.
