Got Nuffin

Spoon is one of my favorite bands and so I’m happy to hear that they’re coming out with their 7th album, ‘Transference’, on Jan 25th. Kick off single is ‘Got Nuffin’, which harks back to old school Spoon. It’s mid tempo, a little grity, got the hard powered, jazzy guitars, brushed and hard hitting percussion and slapping bass lines. Britt Daniel sings with a little edge in this one. I’m totally feeling Joy Division vibes here. Good stuff.
