Thanks to my sister, Nadia, for finding this one. Noisettes are a British based band centered around lead singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa. They released their second album, ‘Wild Young Heart’, this past April, which reached #7 on the UK charts. Third single off of the album is ‘Never Forget You’, a sleek throwback to 60s soul pop. Even the band’s name tears pages out of that decade. Shoniwa’s voice in this track is so reminiscent of the girl pop groups of that time, e.g. The Angels, The Chiffons, The Chantels, and The Supremes. The band’s style even harks back to that time, evidenced in their video for ‘Never Forget You’.
